Privacy Policy

Speak Quechua is operated by HAUS GROUP LLC ("we", "us"), a New York limited liability company. This policy explains what the Speak Quechua website and app collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
- Account details. If you create an account, we store the email address you sign up with and a hashed password. We never store your password in a readable form.
- Learning progress. Lessons completed, words practised, and review scheduling, so the app can pick up where you left off.
- Basic technical data. Our web server records the usual request logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser type — for security and troubleshooting. These are kept no longer than 30 days.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not run third-party advertising or advertising trackers.
- We do not ask for your contacts, your location, your photos, or your microphone unless a feature you deliberately start requires it, and then only for that feature.
Why we are allowed to hold it
We process account details and progress to provide the service you asked for. We process technical logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working.
Who else sees it
Only the infrastructure providers who host the service on our behalf, and only as needed to run it. They are bound to process data only on our instructions. We disclose data to anyone else only if the law compels us.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and everything attached to it at any time — see Delete account. Deletion is permanent and we do not keep a shadow copy.
Children
Speak Quechua is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, if you have an account, tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
